2010 Cobra Jet Mustangs

These 2010 Mustang Body in White competition kits are nearing completion. Both cars are being constructed for stock eliminator. Serial number 001 is being built for Ralph and Lynn Ronzello and #006 belongs to Charley Downing.





Chassis construction is just about done then its off to the paint shop!



 

The first 2010 Drag Pak Challenger #001!

The first 2010 Drag Pak Challenger #001 just rolled into MPR on Friday, July 2nd. This is pretty exciting since it's the very first 2010 Drag Pak car.









#001 being unloaded into the shop by Tom from Buckhorn Service.

Drag Pak Challenger #88 update

Drag Pak #88 just came back to MPR on June 28th. Auto Crafters body shop out of Oxford, MI applied the Scott Brown paint scheme to #88. Chassis construction has been completed. #88 recieved a Dana 60 rear end with an MPR rear suspension kit. The Ring and Pinion shop assembled the Dana and packed it with Richmond gears and Mark Williams components.



The new #88! It features black Weld Racing wheels with Moroso tires on the front and Hoosier tires on the rear.



The trunk and engine compartments have been painted black.







Check back for an update on #88 once we get the car completely wired and plumbed, and reinstall the interior!

 

Cobra Jet Mustang #024

Between Drag Pak Challengers, 2008 Cobra Jet Mustang #024 rolled out of MPR. Cobra Jet #024 belongs to Lou Stanford and features Strange shocks, brakes and axles, an MPR 4130 roll cage and custom wheelie bars. We also painted the roll cage here in the shop and put in the tach and guages when we put the interior back together.









This car is sharp when its complete!




 

Drag Pak Challenger #63 update

Drag Pak Challenger #63 rolled back into MPR after being painted and detailed by the Prefix Corporation of Rochester, MI. The engine was sent to Jeff Taylor Performance for blueprinting. The car has been wired and plumbed, the dashboard was modifed and dash frame has been painted, and the Jeff Taylor blueprinted 6.1 Hemi has been reinstalled.





Drag Pak #63 with its finished paint job.



The underside and trunk recieved a gloss white finish and the roll cage was painted grey.



The dash after the wiring was done.
Glen plans on having his Challenger compete as an NHRA legal A Stock automatic car.

 

MPR Coilover Shock Adapters

MPR coilover shock adapters makes adapting to coilovers easy! Just remove the stock spring perches, bolt in the adapters (as shown below), and bolt the shock through the adapters, simple! Includes all hardware and are fully powder coated. Fits many applications including Ford shock tower applications:

65-73 Mustang; 70-77 Maverick; 66-70 Fairlane; 60-70 Falcon; 60-77 Comet; 67-73 Cougar;

and also fits 62-67 Chevy II applications.
